Continuous Digitalization

Purpose and goal:

The overarching goal for CoDig is to create a collaboration platform for top-level researchers and the software intensive industry, focused on continuous digitalization. The platform will catalyze synergistic creation, validation and deployment of research results, and thereby facilitate a significant improvement of the competitive position of Swedish industry and academia in an international setting.

The platform will bring together national and international experts in both industry and academia for excellent research and knowledge dissemination. Expected results and effects:

The CoDig vision is to significantly increase the competitiveness of the Swedish industry by enabling transformation of the software-intensive systems industry into a modern world-leading digitalized industry that fully embraces continuous value delivery by taking advantage of the next generation computing and communications infrastructure. The mission is to accelerate the digitalization of the European software intensive industry.

Large enterprises are an important part of this ecosystem, together with deep-tech SMEs and start-ups. Approach and implementation: The research and collaboration in CoDig is organized in four focus areas: - AI-supported digitalization, - Continuous and automated quality assurance, - Continuous safety and security

- Data-driven digital transformation. To complement the research focus areas the center also provides two supporting areas: Competence/Education and Network/Mobility.

The partnership consists of five Swedish universities and several international companies, and builds on the collaboration in Software Center.
