To explore and develop a prototype of a cross-sector and cross-industry model of mission investment as part of the solution to ensuring that all children have an equal chance to succeed in school. The prototype will be validated and tested in a real environment through a pilot in Västra Götaland. The purpose of mission investing is to make long-term, sustainable capital more available for initiatives that can generate positive measurable impact so that more children have an equal chance to pass school.

Developed a prototype of a cross sector mission investment and implemented a first mission investment in initiatives that make a difference for students, regardless of socio-economic status, parents´ educational background and home circumstances, reaching high school qualification. Developed a plan for how the model can be implemented and scaled so that we eventually create the conditions for extensive mission investments that are system-changing and an important part of the solution for all children to have an equal chance to pass school.
