Grant Description

The research idea of this project is to develop new research questions and studies in the multidisciplinary space provided in the strategic area of Innovative learning. The aim is to develop a research agenda for the area of Innovative learning.

The area consists of three interrelated research programs: Democracy and Equity; Digitalisation, Technologies, Media, and Learning; and Learning environments of tomorrow.

The workshop series will develop a common ground for future applications for larger studies and for a more coherent research programme in the area of Innovative learning, in the short and long term, and will build on the Change laboratory approach. Data will be collected during and after workshops.

Observations and interviews will be used to provide understandings of important and inclusive steps in the process and observations will be audio-recorded and documented.

Analysis will be conducted after each workshop, based on the CHAT theoretical perspective and the Change Laboratory method and results will be fed into the process of developing the workshop series as they proceed.

The expected outcome is a research agenda with projects defined for doctoral students, postdocs, researchers for each participating program and for Innovative Learning as a strategic research area.
