Faster diagnosis and accurate prognosis for rheumatoid arthritis

Purpose and goal:

The project aims at testing two diagnostic test prototypes in relevant end-user environment and verifying their applicability for clinical use for faster diagnosis and correct prognosis for rheumatoid arthritis patients. Expected results and effects:

During the project, system components, processes and device prototype will be validated and demonstrated in the end user environment. Possible new areas of use are investigated and the strategy to protect intellectual property rights will be completed. Approach and implementation:

The project is led by a company developing the test for commercialization and the other partners represent the innovator, healthcare, and clinical laboratories as end users. Usability studies are carried out in relevant end-user laboratory, the test developed based on both the user requirements and the regulatory requirements. Research to discover new areas of use is done in parallel.
