A Swedish Survey on Sustainability and Consumer Finance

Purpose and goal:

The research project will implement a repeated survey on sustainability and personal finance in Sweden with the objective to collect and measure people’s behaviors, attitudes and expectations surrounding the environment and personal finances. Expected results and effects:

Detailed survey results will be available for participating researchers and aggregate data for the general public. The survey will be paired with rich socio-economic data which allows for an in-depth analysis of preferences about the environment and actual financial decisions. This research is important both to develop better economic models and to evaluate the effect of regulation and policy.

Approach and implementation:

This project is done in close collaboration with Statistics Sweden and a group of researchers from Swedish House of Finance and MISUM at the Stockholm School of Economics.
