IoT Sverige is a strategic innovation program for the Internet of Things (IoT) and will contribute to sustainable solutions to global societal challenges and increased international competitiveness. IoT Sverige´s vision is that IoT contributes to a high quality of life for all people in Sweden. Our mission is to work for increased knowledge and use of IoT through innovation and collaboration.

The program office works to meet IoT Sveriges´s program goals, ie to: 1) Contribute to good health, reduce inequality and sustainable societies with the help of IoT solutions, 2) Put Sweden on the global IoT map, 3) Increase Ssweden´s ability and prerequisites for implementing IoT solutions in the public sector, 4) Develop implementable IoT solutions for the public sector that create measurable benefits for individuals and organizations, and to 5) Ensure that knowledge and experience from the program is managed and further developed.

The program office is responsible for operational program management, project support, communication and collaboration, including promoting gender equality. The program conducts annual calls for innovation projects and initiate strategic projects. IoT Forum is established to increase the exchange of experience and dissemination of results, as well as to engage more actors in the program´s activities and to increase collaboration between all actors in the IoT ecosystem. A special effort is made on internationalization and communication.
