Academy for Management of Digital Transformation

Purpose and goal:

The purpose of this project was to develop and run a pilot of a national academy for Management of Digital Transformation that would increase knowledge and competence within management of digital transformation of Swedish industry. This was done by developing the concept and providing five leading academic seminars in shaping their firms’ ongoing efforts related to the management of digitalization transformation.

Expected results and effects:

The project resulted in two key outcomes. First, the project has designed a concept for national academy within the management of digital transformation aimed for practitioners in the Swedish industry. Second, the project ran a pilot seminar series in close cooperation with leading Swedish academic experts.

Approach and implementation:

To realize the purpose of this pilot project has focused on increasing knowledge and competence of the Swedish industry within management of digital transformation, by undertaking three key tasks that constitute the project activities and implementation plan. Task I- Planning and design of the academy; Task II- Planning and executing of open webinars; and Task III- Marketing the activities.
