Decode Chinese - teach and learn Chinese

Purpose and goal:

Aim and objective of the project was to develop an MVP that would eventually be validated with potencial end-users in Taiwan. Specifically, the project group wanted to further develop and validate a digital education platform for students and teachers in language teaching of Chinese through the results of step 1. The goals have been met according to plan.

Expected results and effects:

Through continuous validation, the project group has gained a clear idea of directions that meet the needs of end users more effectively and how the solution should be commercialized. The result was an MVP that specifically addresses the needs students and teachers face today and also created confidence in Decode as a player in the local education market.

Approach and implementation:

In summary, the approach has consisted of several development phases from the survey to the MVP. Specifically, the project group has carried out surveys and developed prototypes with students and teachers to validate hypotheses about the solution´s effectiveness and user experience. Primarily by validating linguistic and technical solutions in isolation and as a whole.
