Competence needs and courses for professionals in IT and competitive production 2

Purpose and goal:

The aim and goal of the project has been to continue developing the marketing platform www.learning4professionals.se. We have continued to work on development where integration with the SUSA hub has been the focus, but other development based on feedback from users has also been carried out. We have attracted more universities to connect to the platform and in January, 19 Swedish universities are connected to the platform with over 250 courses available. In addition to this, we have worked with simplified administration for courses for professionals.

Expected results and effects:

The platform learning4professionals.se (l4p) has been further developed with, among other things, a direct connection to Skolverkets SUSA-hub to retrieve course information. Other major development efforts have been to add the course type MOOC, the possibility of a sub-level in the course category classification. The user interface has been modernized.

We have participated actively in several national initiatives. For courses for professionals, collaboration models has been refined and 2 courses have been offered twice in collaboration between the universities. Approach and implementation:

The project has had an project group that has met when necessary, while the actual work has taken place in the specific working groups. For the platform, we have worked closely with consultants. The project´s participants have also been involved in several national initiatives and have been able to lift lp4 to become the natural platform for other initiatives as well.

Despite the geographical spread of the project parties, the collaboration has worked well and made the operation of the project easy. The project has led to deepened cooperation between the project parties in several areas.
