Källby Water Workshop Phase 2

Purpose and goal:

The purpose of Källby Water Workshop; as well as for the collaboration between the three test beds; is to empower the development of online instruments for water quality measurement.

The goal is to be able to meet the impact of climate change on future water quality. Through this, we want to create a safe and efficient water use in accordance with STD 6, Clean water and sanitation for all. Expected results and effects:

Suppliers and product developers have been given the opportunity to develop their online instrument for water quality measurement together with staff from the industry. Forskare and students have been welcomed to our test beds and have been conducting innovative project together with us. We have helped to solve the most important water quality issues regarding recycling of water.

Vi have shown that today´s laboratory-based drinking water quality measurement can be replaced with online quality measurement. Approach and implementation:

Källby Water Workshop will be an innovation hub for online measurement of water quality. We will increase the number of test projects and perform projects from idea to implementation according to our model.

We will also, from a quality perspective, intensify the recycling of water in the community. Therefore, we now welcome researchers and product developers to work with us in our test bed constellation, which provides access to the entire water cycle. We will place great emphasis on finding the right project and on spreading the results to the industry.
