User tests/focus group electric outboard motor

Purpose and goal:

As planned, the project has carried out user tests of Zparq´s prototype for an electric outboard motor in a natural environment. Expected results and effects:

Real customer needs and usability for parts of the solution have been verified, further developed performed and new requirements have been identified. The prototype and the tests have made it possible to verify - and adjust - the intended product packaging, although the lack of certain system components (global semiconductor shortage) means that this needs to be further verified with user groups.

Approach and implementation: TEST PREPARATIONS (May 2021) ESTABLISHMENT of TEST PLATFORM (June-August) USER TESTS (September - December) REPORTING & ACTION PLAN (October - December) Analysis: The approach was efficient and will be used by Zparq in similar projects in the future. Efficient to work iteratively at this stage: regular and frequent test sessions and continuous development

Tests with broad focus groups will take place during the 2022 season, where much of the preparations now been done.
