Purpose and goal:

The aim has been fulfilled by carrying out the experimental tests and the virtual setups as planned. The objective has been met by the fact that comparisons have been carried out to verify and create an idea of the performance in terms of the shear and tensile capacity between the experimental tests and the virtual tests.

Expected results and effects:

The result was positive as the BiteLock system demonstrated a good performance in terms of the shear and tensile capacity. The expectation was that the virtual setup would more closely mirror the experimental tests . However, the results from the two different setups show correlations in similar load-bearing capacity. Deeper analyzes need to be carried out to clarify more specific relationships.

Approach and implementation:

The setup for carrying out the tests proved to work well. There were implementation issues with delivery delays and delays in the development of the BiteLock system.
