Purpose and goal:

The project has confirmed interest in the market as a whole and customers in certain segments with particularly good Product/Market fit. The goal of expanding the professional network with potential customers has also been fulfilled at the same time. Furthermore, the economical feasibility of the production process at industrial scale has been investigated and confirmed.

Expected results and effects:

The outcome of the customer-related goals has been exceeded. Initially, an objective was set for three documented collaborations with customers who are willing to conduct test studies. The number of customers that could be convinced to sign a Letter of Intent is four. With one of these customers, next step discussions regarding a joint development project is ongoing.

As expected, the techno-economical analysis has provided invaluable information for further development work. The results confirm that the process has great potential to be scaled up to an industrial level. Approach and implementation:

Customer segmentation was done to identify customers in segments with good Product / Market fit. Shortlisted potential customers were contacted according to the developed business development strategy.

The techno-economical analysis was carried out in collaboration with a consultant. The process design was defined and calculations and analysis were made to evaluate economical viability, as well as areas to focus on in order to reach a production at industrial scale.
