Edvent - Digitization of integration process. Focus: immigrants.

Purpose and goal:

During the project, we have continued to analyze the municipal work with immigrants and the long-term unemployed in order to find ways to streamline their work processes and to make skills-enhancing initiatives available to participants digitally. The solution would and also became a support- and learning system developed together with customers nationally.

The system automates several parts of the everyday tasks in the work with the long-term unemployed and offers results -based courses that follow the participants throughout their integration and / or establishment. Expected results and effects:

The system has been tested by municipal departments that work with the target group - immigrants and / or long-term unemployed. The system is also actively used today by seven paying customers in Sweden. From pilots and actively paying customers, we see the effect of our solution, which succeeds in shortening administrative work processes.

The system also reports the participants´ competence development after completed training in various subjects that will contribute to more equipped and qualified participants in order to begin studies or work more quickly. Approach and implementation:

The project was divided into three phases. During phase 1, our previous preparatory work and needs analysis continued to further map the challenges and problems our potential customers found in their work with the target group. During phase 2, we created an MVP based on conversations and interviews with the customer and target group.

During phase 3, the system was tested by organizations that work with the target group. After phase 3, we refined parts of the system based on the customer´s and target group´s wishes. In connection with this, we also began our early sales of the product.
