Insightgap: A product for companies who want to support their employees to take care of their own mental health

Purpose and goal:

We are working to make the knowledge and skills that support emotional and mental wellbeing easily accessible for everyone, in a first stage by working with large organisations who want to support their employees towards this goal as part of both staff development and wellbeing programs. In these four months we fulfilled our goal and conducted a successful verification of our online education and roll out materials.

We also attracted new clients, further start up/innovation support and are in dialog with two different capital investment options. Expected results and effects:

We have had 438 people receive and invitation and of these 45 (10,3%) go on to use the product. This verification and its component evaluation brought up many areas needing further refinement and adjustment (ease of use, effective communication surrounding the product, issues such as GPR and data storage). Through the verification and associated client dialogs we have expanded our understanding of the diversity of client needs/desires regarding additional support for a roll out. We have also sold to new clients (total income of 53,279kr)

Approach and implementation:

We have largely followed the activity plan that we outlined in our original proposal. The only activity that changed was that we were not able to conduct as much detailed in person evaluation as we had planned. Firstly the ongoing Covid challenges made this rather complicated - many peoples working arrangements are still rather disrupted.

In addition we learnt that there are sensitivities to doing such evaluations with users in this way without a prior group process work to establish a safe container and provide context for the evaluation itself. We also were not able to travel to Stockholm
