Nordic Renew Resource (NRR) has shown in lab tests that their new innovation, called HMEE (Heavy Metal Eco Extraction), reduces heavy metals in contaminated process water by more than 99 percent. The goal was to be able to reduce heavy metals by up to 90%, but the process is so efficient that a reduction to> 99% can be achieved.

The founders of NRR made a simple project description of who would do what. Håkan was responsible for the entire project and for contacts with the companies in Västernorrland, in Germany and in the USA. He was also responsible for signing the NDA with involved parties and for analyzes made in Sweden.

Khalid took care of the technicalities with and before the lab tests and the implementation of the tests at GWT in the USA. Eva-Marie was involved in the reporting and compilations that were made. About 20 video meetings were held during the project.
