Purpose and goal:
Hard-to-heal wounds is a growing problem that creates great suffering and accounts for 2-4% of the annual healthcare budget. SeeWound aims to reduce this suffering by offering user-friendly decision support tools to healthcare professionals treating wounds on a daily basis. The project has enabled the project group to, through artificial intelligence, provide healthcare professionals with some of the necessary
information needed to ensure that they continuously can make the right treatment decisions. Expected results and effects:
The project has helped the project team ensure a broader distribution of the application SeeWound through increased availability, increased compatibility with existing hardware and also made it possible to integrate treatment recommendations in the solution. Approach and implementation:
The project had been conducted in close collaboration with existing users and development consultants to adapt the current version of SeeWound to new hardware and to simplify the handling during use. As part of the development, ongoing interviews with end users has been conducted to ensure that the application was developed in line with what is actually required from the end users.
