Oppioo - an evidence and patient based exercise platform

Purpose and goal:

Oppioo offers a digital service that is available to everyone regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, place of residence and socio-economic background, etc. The goal is to give all cancer patients the knowledge and tools to optimize the effect of their cancer treatment, increase their well-being and increase their possibility of a good life after their treatment.

We want cancer patients´ self-monitored data to be part of the treatment and contribute to a more individualized precision care. Oppio´s solution can contribute to this. Expected results and effects:

The project has resulted in a finished prototype of the app that will continue to be validated with both Swedish and European cancer patients. The expected effects are that the patients´ sense of control increases and that Oppioo´s solution can contribute to increased well-being and faster rehabilitation with a patient-centered solution as an outcome.

Approach and implementation:

We have developed our application into a finished prototype based on insights from users as well as researchers from the PhysCan study group in Uppsala. We have validated both our solution and business concept with experts in the medtech area, both in Sweden and Europe, and more validations will need to be done in the future.
