Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The project aimed to produce samples to discuss applications with potential future customers. We have mainly worked to present a functioning continuous process and sufficient amounts of material, which also have led to a first deal. In addition to this, we have managed to create a continuous discussion with another potential "demo product partner".

Expected results and effects:

The three main results of the project are: (1) A strengthened focus on materials for construction components, which is based on our customer contacts, complemented with a market analysis. (2) As a second result this also have resulted in an altered/sharpened business model. (3) Finally, the sustainability aspect is the strongest driving force of our customers, with clear requirements for renewable raw materials, green chemistry, water-based processes and recyclability.

Approach and implementation:

The main plan was, in addition to demonstrating our unique material properties to possible future customers, to develop the process equipment so that we could show the customers that we can deliver sufficient quantities of material for them to want to enter into early agreements as demonstration partners.
