National node sustainable production

Purpose and goal:

A national node for sustainable production contributes to the transformation that industry must go through to achieve more circular and CO2-neutral activities. This by initiating, communicating and implementing more sustainable production solutions.

The node will initiate R&D activities in order to realize a production that is sustainable in itself, but also enables closed loop life cycles for developed products.

The node is also a storefront for companies which offer products / services that combine performance with environmental and resource sustainability. Expected results and effects:

A nationally recognized environment is created around the node for sustainable production. Here, companies and research actors work together to develop new knowledge and implement it industrially. The meeting place created by the node offers an arena where partners get information about: research results that enable products to be manufactured, used and recycled in a sustainable way

industrial applications, where companies using sustainable solutions tells about results and erfarenheter. the opportunity to influence and participate in joint R&D projects being initiated. Approach and implementation:

The project is coordinated by SSCP AB. Operational management is performed by a specific steering group, consisting of project partners and key actors in the Swedish R&D system. The project is divided into seven specific work tasks: WP1: Establishment of the node activities WP2: Definition and initialization of priority R&D efforts
