Purpose and goal:
The project har created prerequsites for the company Dyenamo to continue to grow as supplier of high-quality materials for perovskite solar cells. The manufacturing of various perovskite materials have been scaled up from 100 g batches to 5 kg batches, with remained quality and batch-to-batch reproducibility.
Expected results and effects:
The project has resulted in methodology and routines for manufacturing of high-purity chemicals for perovskite solar cells. No obstacles have been identified in the performed evaluations regarding regulations and freedom to operate analysis, Suppliers of start material in the right amounts and quality have been identified.
Approach and implementation:
The project duration was 21 months and it was deivided into three work packages; WP1: Synthesis development, WP2: Environmental profile, regulations and safety, and WP3: Project management and Freedom to operate analysis. The activities have been carried out according to plan. Laboratory R&D work has been carried out in parallel to various evaluations. The project has resulted in that Dyenamo is rigged to manufacture and deliver larger amounts high-quality perovskite materials.
