Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

Xtend U is a prosthesis concept that dramatically improves the comfort and experience of prosthesis use and allows the user to use the prosthesis both for a longer time and with less risk of complications. Expected results and effects:

The goal of the project was to develop Xtend U into a first product variant ready for commercialization. Xtend U will reach the pilot markets in 2024. Approach and implementation:

The project was run using five work packages and despite some challenges in the project, the assessment is that the project and product development have made great progress during the project period.
