The NGO Legal Enabling Environment Program II (LEEP II), a five-year cooperative agreement implemented by ICNL. The program's goal is to support and defend freedom of association and assembly for CSOs worldwide.
ICNL seeks to support and defend civil society's rights, including the freedoms of association, assembly, expression, information, and other human rights needed for the vibrant functioning of CSOs worldwide.
ICNL will: 1)Provide TA to respond to existing or proposed legislation and/or regulations that threaten civil society, while also responding to opportunities for enabling civil society law reform. 2)Strengthen local capacity to advance civil society law reform through competitively awarded participant training for civil society and media practitioners, lawyers, scholars, and government officials. 3)Enrich and enhance the knowledge base for civil society law reform at the country and international level.
