Local Enterprise and Value-chain Enhancement (LEVE)

The LEVE project will support small and medium enterprises that operate within industries assessed to have the best prospects for growth and job creation.

Firms within the construction, apparel, and agribusiness value chains, including input suppliers and end-market buyers, as well as technical, business, and financial support services firms, will receive technical support.

The project will help firms identify and take advantage of market opportunities, assist in developing product or service upgrading strategies, and train workers in accordance with identified skill requirements.Expected results include: greater integration of 2,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises in selected value chains; 14,000 people in new or better employment; twelve workforce development organizations more responsive to private sector demand.
