Grant Description

On December 30, 2009, China and Ghana signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which provides 60 million RMB grant to Ghana. The agreement was signed between Ghanaian Minister for Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and Chinese Ambassador to Ghana Yu Wenzhe. It is unclear how the funds were used, but they do not appear to be tied.

As part of the ETCA, China provided a 40 million RMB interest-free loan (captured in #2003).
