Grant Description

The purpose of this agreement is to provide E3/Global Climate Change with access to the specialized expertise in environment and natural resources, related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, represented within the Department of Interior.

Activities will include providing technical expertise and capacity building for improving developing countries' abilities to measure and monitor land use and land use change.

In addition, this agreement should make available other information related to integrating natural resource management with Global Climate Change (GCC) and development objectives, including helping countries develop Low Emission Development Strategies and increasing the resilience of people, places, and livelihoods in response to GCC. (Direct GCC-Sustainable Landscapes: $1,000,000)
