Reading for Ethiopia's Achievement Developed (READ TA)

Reading for Ethiopia's Achievement Developed Technical Assistance (READ TA) activity focuses on improving the reading and writing skills of primary school students nationwide. The activity developed a new reading curriculum for grades 1-8 together with the Ministry of Education (MOE).

In collaboration with MOE and Regional Education Bureaus(REBs), READ-TA also developed textbooks and teacher's guides in seven mother tongue languages for grades 1-8; and trained 1,200 grade 1-4 teacher trainers.
