Grant Description

Building on the achievements from the Family AIDS Initiative (FAI), USAID awarded funding to OPHID for a five-year program, entitled, Families and Communities for Elimination of Pediatric HIV (FACE-Pediatric HIV).

The FACE Pediatric HIV program is implemented by a consortium of partners who bring a wide range of technical expertise and over ten years of experience in designing, implementing and leveraging support towards Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV in Zimbabwe.

The program will expand access to high-quality prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) services that are closely linked to HIV/AIDS treatment, care, and support for families, including children living with HIV.
