Grant Description

B+WISER will continue to assist the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources to address threats to biodiversity and forest degradation in ways that contribute to slowing, halting, or reversing greenhouse gas emissions from forests.

FY 2016 funds will finance the roll-out and implementation of the LAWIN forest and biodiversity protection system to help strengthen conservation in high conservation value areas, support the development of payment for ecosystem service schemes, and continue environmental law enforcement.
