Grant Description

The Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Institutional Strengthening Project (FISP) is a five-year project funded by USAID/Pakistan.

FISP is assisting the FATA Secretariat (FS), the FATA Development Authority (FDA) and the Governors Secretariat in their efforts to develop their capacity through systems development, improvement of related functions, and the strengthening of the information technology (IT) infrastructure.

According to the FISP Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Plan, the strengthened capacity of the FS and FDA will help achieve the strategic objective of ensuring their institutional viability as service-oriented government bodies capable of managing their duties in a transparent and well-planned manner.
