The goal of the project: To empower the women with disability by promoting sources of income to enjoy human rights.
The objectives are to: Increase capacity of the 150 beneficiaries to be included in employment and self-employment, Ensure access of beneficiaries to employment and self-employment through advocacy.
The goals and objectives are addressing the USAID mission and the provisions set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
According to the Article 6 - States Parties recognize that women and girls with disabilities are subject to multiple discriminations, and in this regard shall take measures to ensure the full and equal enjoyment by them of all their human rights and fundamental freedoms. and States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to ensure the full development, advancement and empowerment of women, for the purpose of guaranteeing them the exercise and enjoyment of the human rights and fundamental freedoms set out in the present Convention.
The goal and objectives of this project will end the discrimination of 150 WWDs. The proposed project is designed to ensure empowerment of Women with Disabilities (WWDs).
The project will improve the lives and livelihoods of disabled women and children by increasing the employment opportunity and self-employment skills, which will bring sustainable positive changes in their lives. The goal of the project is, To empower the women with disabilities by promoting income source to enjoy human rights.
The project objectives are: to increase capacity of the 150 beneficiaries to be employed and/or self-employed and to ensure access of beneficiaries to employment and self-employment through advocacy.
