Through a five-year Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) Cooperative Agreement to administer the END in Africa programs, FHI 360 works closely with its END program partners, sub grantees and national ministries of health to foster integration of national NTD control.
Through the work of its END in Africa program, FHI 360 is advancing USAIDs goal of contributing to the global elimination of NTD by reducing prevalence of seven diseaseslymphatic filariasis (elephantiasis), onchocerciasis (river blindness), schistosomiasis (snail fever), trachoma (blinding eye infection) and three soil-transmitted helminths (hookworm, roundworm, and whipworm).
