The Targeted States High Impact Project (TSHIP) will focus on strengthening the delivery of high-impact interventions at low cost to reduce maternal and child deaths and improve state and local government capacity to deliver and promote these interventions.-Health systems activities will include improving human resource planning and training, health logistics, health information systems, health infrastructure, the policy environment and community ownership.
Interventions supported will include a wide variety of integrated community and facility-based primary health care programs, including promotion of family planning/child spacing as a method to improve maternal and child health.
