Grant Description

LAMON LTD is a start-up that disrupts the printing and packaging market with two highly innovative products - a 100% biodegradable laminating film LAMON and a packaging foil PACKON made from corn. Both have the full performance capabilities of plastic film but are based on PLA and are therefore compostable.

No recycling needed.

They are completely compatible with current printing and packing industrial machines for immediate large-scale market entry, and do not require any changes to process or equipment. Our recipe allows us to produce high quality, affordable and durable clear film on standard polymer extruders. During prototyping we established there are no VOC emissions in the production and its life cycle.

We achieved a low price by producing them with one step less than the other solutions on the market and thus saving energy and manpower.

With a granulating machine we will reuse the waste material from production which complies with the EUs Circular Economy Action.
