Grant Description

PSCRPs purpose was to Enhance reconciliation and recovery in targeted communities in Eastern DRC.

The project is implemented by MSI in partnership with International Alert over 26 months from October 2009 until November 2011.

PSCRP is a community reconciliation and recovery project using a community-driven development (CDD) methodology, with a cross-cutting conflict-sensitive approach.

It supports 30 communities in Eastern DRC, totaling an estimated 280,000 inhabitants.The project is fully funded by USAID.

The project was designed and implemented in the context of a new paradigm of stabilization in Eastern DRC, initiated by the UN, and to which USAID wanted to contribute through, amongst other, this project.
