Health System Strengthening Project (HSSP)

The goal of the project is to support the Government of Georgias health reform efforts, which are aimed at improving the health status of the population, and increasing the quality of, access to, and satisfaction of health services.

The project contributes to these efforts by strengthening insurers capacity to provide quality health insurance services; strengthening providers capacity to manage and deliver quality health care services; and strengthening the governments capacity to guide and monitor health reforms.

The main focus of the project is to assist the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs in institutionalizing the national health management information system, e-Health.
