Grant Description

To provide support to FAO to carry out collaborative activities with USAID to prevent and control highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) and other emerging zoonotic diseases of significant public health concern as well as other diseases, such as H1N1 influenza, that can infect both humans and animals.

The overall objective is to reduce the risk of human exposure by reducing infections in animals.
