The overall objective of Expanding the access to and scope of Palliative Care for People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) and their families , under the USAID PEPFAR program support to Uganda, was to increase access to and utilization of quality palliativecare service by PLHAs and their immediate families.

The program was designed with 4 key results areas namely: i) Improved service delivery of palliative care services, ii) increased capacity of HIV/AIDS organizations, iii) Improved policy environment iv) Improved organization and management of the institution.
