Grant Description

On June 18, 2006, the Chinese Government and the Government of Ghana signed an agreement to donate a batch of anti-malarial drugs worth RMB 2 million to a newly-established malaria center at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (see Record ID#1745).

The drugs were manufactured by Chinese pharmaceutical companies Huali Ketai Pharmaceutical and Guilin South Pharmaceutical and were shipped to Ghana in May 2007. They were officially delivered and handed over to the Ghanaian authorities on September 5, 2007.
