Grant Description

An agreement was signed on December 29, 2008 between The governments of China and Liberia for 50 million CNY (approximately $9 million USD) with the intention of "promoting economic and technical cooperation between the two countries." The amount will be used to cover the express of the projects agreed upon by the two sides, but these projects are not defined.

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Liberia and the China Development Bank will be cooperating on the implementation of this project.
