Grant Description

Bolivia Sustainable Forest Management Project (BOLFOR).

BOLFOR is a project of the Ministry of the Sustainable Development and Planning, specifically of the Vice-Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources, and Forestry.

The objective of the project is to reduce the degradation of forests, soil and water resources and to protect the biological diversity of the forests in Bolivia.

Its purpose is to strengthen the capability of the Bolivian public and private sectors to develop and implement programs of sustainable and certifiable forest use.
