Grant Description

OTA is providing technical assistance to the Philippine Bureau of the Treasury to help increase domestic debt market liquidity and resilience through structural improvements and the introduction of new instruments and techniques.

Examples of work in this area include modernizing the infrastructure supporting the government securities market, initiating a Primary Dealer system, and creating a GMRA-based repo market to increase liquidity in the domestic market.
