Grant Description

Assistance to Guatemalas Tax Administration (SAT) to improve transparency, combat corruption, and create a more efficient and effective tax administration.

Assistance in 2012 will focus on completion of a large scale multi-year project in Fiscalization (audit); improve taxpayer satisfaction; address major areas of taxpayer non-compliance; address a number of critical problems in the Information Technology area; and in HR to review and improve the recruitment/hiring process.
