Grant Description

On March 7, 2011, the Chinese Government announced that it would provide a RMB 40 million grant to Tunisia.

Then, on April 21, 2011, the Chinese Government and the Government of Tunisia signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), in which the Chinese Government committed a RMB 40 million grant to Tunisia to finance projects jointly agreed upon by the two governments. The Tunisian Government ratified this ETCA on September 21, 2011, via Decree n° 2011-2423.

Tunisia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs was responsible for the implementation of this decree.
