Grant Description

According to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) was signed between Ethiopia and China on November 9, 2008.

Chairman Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, and Ethiopia's Speaker of the House of Peoples' Representatives Teshome Toga attended the signing ceremony of the ETCA, as were Li Jianguo, vice chairman and secretary general of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, and Shitaye Minali, deputy speaker of the People's Congress of the People's Republic of China.
