Grant Description

This Global Procurement Initiative (GPI): Procurement Assistance Program for Ecuador is a national-level Program that will train public procurement professionals on how existing policies and regulations in their country enable the application of life-cycle cost analysis (LCCA) and best value determination.

The Program encompasses four separate training components: 1) an in-country workshop 2) a virtual training series for procurement officials and other ministries of the Government of Ecuador; 3) access to USTDA's Online Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) Curriculum; and, 4) a value-based procurement Study Tour to the United States for up to 18 procurement officials from the Government of Ecuador.

The components would be carried out in collaboration with the Government of Ecuador, the George Washington University Law School's Government Procurement Law Program, and USTDA's GPI technical specialists.
