Grant Description

This grant to Thailand's Digital Economy and Promotion Agency (DEPA) is funding technical assistance that will provide a roadmap to support the implementation of ICT infrastructure necessary for buildout of smart city projects in Phuket Province, Thailand.

USTDA's grant will enable expansion of functionality for the Phuket City Data Platform; upgrade of Phuket Province's command center capabilities to improve city services and emergency communications systems; and modernization of core ICT infrastructure, including fiberoptic networks, data servers, cloud migration, cybersecurity, and 5G deployment.
