Grant Description

This grant funds technical assistance (TA) for PT.

Indonesia Power, a state-owned power company in Indonesia, for technical and economic analysis of a 462 megawatt (MW) nuclear power plant using U.S. firm NuScale Power Corporation's small modular reactor (SMR) technology in West Kalimantan.

The TA would help Indonesia Power assess the technical and economic viability of an SMR nuclear power plant to address growing electricity demand and reduce reliance on fossil fuel-based power generation.
