Grant Description

This reverse trade mission (RTM) will connect delegates from Nigeria's public and private sectors with the latest U.S. technologies, services, and best practices for methane abatement and flare gas utilization in the oil and gas sector (considered by the International Energy Agency to be one of the best nearterm opportunities for climate action).

In addition, the RTM is designed to highlight U.S. policies, regulations, and financing mechanisms relevant to the implementation of methane abatement and flare gas utilization projects in Nigeria.
