Grant Description

This USTDA-funded reverse trade mission (RTM) series will bring customs officials from Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) member countries -- Fiji, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam -- to the United States to familiarize them with state-of-the-art U.S. technologies, services, and best practices to digitalize and secure customs processes and procedures essential to facilitating international trade.

The RTMs would build awareness of U.S. technologies, solutions, and best practices that can support safe, secure, and efficient supply chains and would connect U.S. firms to customs agencies in IPEF member countries to support opportunities for future business partnerships.

The RTM series will focus on cargo scanning technologies and digital solutions, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data analytics, that can improve customs efficiency and risk management.
